Mango Manor - Walk to Las Olas!

Home was clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was perfect.

The dryer in the house was an old model, and despite asking the homeowner how to operate it and being told the correct mode to use, it never dried our laundry. All our clothes came out damp from the dryer. We were never able to get them fully dry. Since the area was humid, the clothes didn’t dry outside either, which was very challenging for us. Additionally, the pillows in the living room were very dirty. Someone had touched them with chocolate-stained hands, leaving marks on them. The bathroom curtain in the bathroom-attached room was also dirty. Someone had touched the top and inside areas with bloody hands, which made me extremely uncomfortable. Moreover, the bamboo salad bowls were cracked. As soon as we put our salad in one of the bowls, all the liquid from the salad leaked onto the table. The bowls were entirely unusable, except for dry foods. There were also no small dishes or bowls in the house to substitute for them. Furthermore, some of the forks and knives were rusty. We separated the rusty ones and set them aside. Additionally, there were no glass water or drink glasses in the kitchen. Only six white wine glasses were made of glass; all other cups were made of unbreakable acrylic plastic, which I found very unpleasant. I prefer drinking from glass cups and dislike plastic ones. The vacuum cleaner, which was listed as functional before the rental, was not working. We couldn’t clean the house at all. When we informed the homeowner, they claimed it had worked before and tried to blame us. However, we hadn’t even used it yet. We realized it wasn’t working on our first attempt and immediately notified them. They came to check and confirmed it wasn’t working. Thankfully, they promptly replaced it and sent us a new one, which was the only positive aspect of this issue. The windows were also very dirty. The inner frames of the windows were filthy.

The beach house was amazing!!! Everything was perfect, the location is ideal!! No complaints at all, my husband and i would highly recommend!! Very clean and quiet neighborhood as well

Great location, within walking distance of Las Olas Blvd. The house was nicely decorated, having that beach vibe that helped make us feel on vacation the moment we stepped foot inside. The hosts were friendly and prompt to respond to our queries. They ensured a smooth check in/ out process, simple and effective. The beds were very comfortable and the location was fully equipped with ammenities to support our every need. Overall, a great experience! We hope to do it again soon.
