Although in general, the apartments left much to be desired, I have to say that the location was great, since you were around a 5-minute walk away from the ferries and the bus station. There are also plenty of restaurants around and a few grocery stores in close proximity. Also, we stayed at the apartment for one week, and throughout our stay, the internet was great! The internet extender did not work that well, but the main internet box was working splendidly.

There were three main disappointments when it came to these apartments: 1. Cleanliness, 2. The second shower, 3. Outdated amenities. Let's first address the issue of cleanliness. When we first entered the apartments, we were greeted by dirty shoe marks left on the floor, starting from the entrance, going to the balcony. At first, we thought that it was not such a big deal, since we could just mop the floor, but only if we knew that this was just the beginning. When we entered the kitchen, the sink was covered by limescale, and the kettle also had a lot of limescale/minerals on its inside walls. Then, entering the bathroom, there was NO dish soap!? I do not understand how you cannot provide a simple amenity such as soap? Yes, there were douche gel provided, but that does not replace soap. Moreover, alongside the shower walls, there was some mould starting to form. Then, entering the bedroom, the worst thing about the trip was finding loose hair spread throughout the linen and many questionable spots spread across the bedding. Truly, at that moment, we almost left the apartments. I do not know how a person can rent out the apartments in this state. Dirty floors, limescale, etc, can be forgiven, but hair on the bedding is quite unforgivable. Thankfully, upon closer inspection, it did seem that the bedding was washed (since it smelled clean), and perhaps the cleaning staff just accidentally dropped the pillows/bedding when they were setting the bed up; however, it is still unacceptable to be leaving the apartments in such a state. To the next issue, the second shower. The smaller shower that is adjacent to one of the bedrooms is extremely poorly constructed. It is impossible to take a shower without flooding the whole floor of the bathroom! Last issue, the outdated amenities. Although it did seem that the bedding and the towels were washed, they were extremly worn out, and I would highly recommend the owner to buy new ones to replace them.
