The Dublin Packet - Twin Room 1

It was like a bedsit hostel but on a comfortable level. The reason why I gave it 'Superb' - Very handy spot when one is tired from the ferry - the ferry arrived 4 hours later so I got in around 3.30am and the owner of this place was very accommodating since I had zero wifi to communicate with him on the ferry but I did inform him before we left the country there may be weather issues so we won't arrive till early hours. He saw me parking up and asked if I was staying there and I replied yes so he said ok he will move his car so I could park there and then he helped me with the access to front door (he had the code so he was genuine!) . Plus they accept pets which is why they get excellent point for this and I was able to leave my cat in to settle while I went to get some food locally. I loved the comfort of tv and tea/kettle with space for the cat to roam around, do its business, and sleep. I would certainly stay here again just because he was good (the owner, not the cat). The cat was good too. ;D

I didn't like having to go up the stairs on arrival carrying the cat in carrier and my luggage overnight. But that's because I was tired and just wanted to crash out. Minor issue really.

Small kitchen, comfortable bed, kettle and biscuits etc. in the room, staff helped quickly

It wasn't possible to completly close the window and the road was a bit loud

Abdul was a great host. Check in- check out was very easy. It’s a budget hotel, close to the train station and ferry services.

It’s a budget hotel so shared bathroom but I didn’t mind.

Convenient to port

Lack of ensuite, didn't like shared bathroom

As Described. Excellent value for money and great position to get to ferry terminal. A whole 2 minutes, if that.

Prefect location for catching ferry.
