The Dublin Packet - Twin Room 1

Leaving this morning.

Wow, where to start, I suppose we will start with health and safety. 1- rooms are on the first floor with only one way into the building and one way out, no fire escape. 2- rooms doors are wafer thin and don’t close properly, had to stick a spoon between the lock and the door frame to keep the door shut while unlocked. 3- difficult to gain entry to the main door downstairs due to the mechanism being faulty 4- mould on the walls quite clearly because of damp 5- stains on one of the sheets ( I slept fully clothed on top of the sheets because of this :) ) 6- window sills full of dust and blinds full of dust also 7-exposed wiring on light fitting due to no cover being in place. PLEASE DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL I PROMISE YOULL REGRET IT!!!!! Pay more and stay at the travel lodge or premier inn.

Room very pheasant clean and comfortable for a good nights rest .

Stairs very much a problem , they were quite steep and not the best for people with mobility issues . The one toilet and shower room , it could have done another toilet or the rooms would have better with there own toilet .

Location and price were very good

I assumed it was a Pub but there is a pub next door and some nice eatery’s up the road

The location was great, and exactly what I had hoped for.

The bathroom was shared and during the night there was no obvious or easily accessible light to help you find the toilet. Perhaps an automatic lighting system would help?

Just a basic room . . with a shared WC and bathroom which was a surprise! No food options, no breakfast very utilitarian but servred it's purpose.

Food options - En suite

Room was clean and the beds comfortable. Tea, coffee, biscuits and bottles of water were provided, as we're towels.

No en-suite but we had sole use of separate bathroom with shower.

Even though we arrived forty minutes past midnight. Being forty minutes past the point of being able to sign-in. We really appreciated the willingness of the host to sign us in anyway. That was very much appreciated. Everything else being the beds. TV and the toilet facilities were of good use and overall was exactly what we needed when we needed it, so all ends and ends well.
