The Pink Cactus - Desert Retreat - Luxe Pool, Golf & Game Room

Extremely happy with the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We only stayed one night for closer access to Joshua tree NP could have stayed a couple of more nights since our kids really enjoy hanging out with each other. We didn't use the pool but I am sure people would enjoy some swimming in summer. Location is also great. We drove into the park's south entrance which is about 35 minutes from the hotel for star gazing at night and visited the park again on the next day. Driveway is spacious and can park 3-4 vehicles easily.

A very nice home, with excellent amenities. Large pool, game room with pool table, some putting holes around the pool. Interior decor is a positive, and all systems were simple to use. This is a perfect base for Indio/Coachella area. It’s a couple of blocks to the emerging Indio downtown area, which is only going to get better. There is a park, playground, dog park, and pickle Al courts a short walk away. It’s a great family place, and likely also for the festivals.

So, I would not suggest staying over July 4 weekend. This was Thanksgiving, and there were fireworks from the neighborhood that night. Where we live is crazy on 4th, and I imagine Indio is as well.

The beds and pillows were super comfy! We all slept really really well! The host was quick to respond to any messages. The house was super cute and it was such a relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of kitchenware for all our cooking needs. Definitely would and want to return.

Paying to heat the pool was a bummer, but it was worth it. The game room needs better billard balls and sticks, but was functional. We didn't get to use the mini golf as the putter was toddler size.

Old and out dated There was also stains on the sheets Showers need attention and clogged with hairs Master bedroom was the smallest shower No propane , owner said if it don’t have it then it’s up to the guest to fill it up , my opinion that was not what I wanted to do was fill up gas to grill Master bedroom mattress needs to be changed out it was really uncomfortable

We loved all the accommodations. The pool was lovely, and the house was so comfortable. Location was close to everything.

Honestly, there was nothing we did not like. Will definitely book again if we are back in Indio.

Everything was great! Host was very attentive and answered our questions right away. House was very clean and stocked with amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

Surprisingly large home , and large open backyard.

There was a television pictured in the game room , but it seems to have been moved to one of the bedrooms.
