Nothing there was no place to stay as you do not rent out anymore. you have permanent residence and still have the cheeck to ask me how was the stay?

No email no reply on the situation!! And booking.com leave it to me know to make contact not acceptable!!

There was tea, coffee, milk and rusks.

The outlook was not great as the rooms were at the back of the property so you looked at the cars. It was also very dark inside.

My partner and I booked a 3 night stay at this farmstay, eagerly anticipating a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Unfortunately, our experience was a far cry from what we'd envisioned. From the moment we entered the room, it was apparent that the accommodation were a far cry from the images presented on the booking site. The room was infested with mosquitoes, making it virtually uninhabitable. To add to the woes, there were dead insects littering the bathroom floor, which was not only unhygienic but utterly repulsive. However, our concerns extended beyond the room itself. The lack of a reliable Wi-Fi connection, as advertised, left us isolated and unable to conduct necessary remote work. It's unacceptable for any establishment to falsely promise amenities they do not provide. Moreover, the room emitted an unpleasant odor that was difficult to ignore, making the stay even more uncomfortable. The most traumatic incident, by far, was the aggression of the owner's dogs. We were attacked by these vicious animals, leaving us severely injured and traumatized. When we approached the owner with our concerns, her response was cold, bitter, and utterly lacking in empathy or responsibility. We requested a room change or a refund for the remaining nights, but she flatly refused, offering no compromise or compassion, hence we decided to leave after staying only 1 night. As a British/South African couple of colour, we felt neither welcome nor comfortable at this establishment and would in particular not recommend it to other people of colour. An anecdotal yet sad reflection on the dark cultural legacy still permeating in South African society. This experience was a horrifying ordeal and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to anyone. The false advertising, deplorable conditions, and lack of accountability left us deeply disheartened.

We loved everything!

It's beautiful house with beautiful gardens and also the room has a lot of character. However, communication could have been a little better, the location was not accurate so we really had problems to find it, it's easy to find in the end but you need the correct directions which we did not get.Then at arrival the lady of the house told us she had upgraded us but it was actually the room we booked, so we did not really understand why she said that. She offered some wine which we had to pay for the next day. That was fine but maybe just mention the price next time. The room is nice, super comfortable bed but the mosquito net didn't fit and has holes which was a nuisance with bugs around as it was a hot night. Breakfast is extra but was very good and the recommendations we got from the lady of the house for some place were nice, thank you for that.

We called the owner around 7pm on the day of our arrival to ask for directions only to be told that she didn’t have a room for us and that our booking had been cancelled. Our booking wasn’t cancelled hence why Booking.com is asking me to write a review. We were even charged for the stay and were told by the owner that she could arrange for us to stay at her friends farm for the same price. We did not enjoy our stay at her friends place, the fan didn’t work properly and was incredibly noisy. The tv had picture but no sounds. Definitely wasn’t what we booked and the whole experience left my wife in a panic as she was worried we wouldn’t have a place to stay for the night. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and spoilt our night away.
