USUSThe area in which this facility is located is out of town and beautiful. It has a view that is truly breathtaking.
The manager of this facility is not taking accountability for the entrance door trouble that exists. Each day at least one of our key cards did not function properly. We were unable to leave and return. We were told by a systems man that we waited an hour and a half for that they had updated their system, yet the front desk was still making cards with the old system. The Manager kept blaming everything else. When I went down the 4th day in a row, one problem is having an issue the worst is not taking responsibility. The porch we had off of the Livingroom had an unmatched view. The trouble is when the air conditioning starts up, you have to turn them off for any peace. They are loud, especially the 2nd floor one that vents out to the porch. After two attempts to fill the Jacuzzi tub, I discovered a screw in the drain that made it unusable. I was so exasperated by the facility manager, I didn't bother to say anything. The hotel that shares the drive is an event facility which can effect the quiet. We were there for a prewedding party.

The place was dated and not very well kept. The location from the restaurant and activities of Newport was further than expected.
CAOur room is very spacious with two full bath room, one bed room and kitchen. The location is perfect for vocation in Newport. 15 minutes drive to downtown but on the Ocean Drive with view of the ocean.
The kitchen equipment is little outdated. The fridge makes loud noise. This could be an issue if someone sleeps in the living room couch.
USNo breakfast or shuttle the first day. Barely concessions the second. For the price, expected more.
Bad: Odd smells in hallways, stairways. Disrepair around the hotel, grounds, etc. Keys didn't work twice (hotel-wide problem) Good: towels very clean, nice location. So much potential but seems rundown.
USThey canceled our reservation at the last minutes saying it was overbooked.

A little run down. Wish the halls were lit at night. It was very dark in the hallways. Rooms were very nice and pool was lovely.
USStaff was very pleasant and helpful. Location of room overlooking the ocean was definitely a plus. The shuttle taking us into and bringing us back from town was very welcome, and helpful!
