House 6 Goldcroft - Walk to Beach & Village, Pet-friendly & hottub

Location of property is ideal for the beach. The ‘track’ to the property is a bit daunting to drive up but once you’ve done it a few times it’s OK. It is Up hill on the way back. The property was OK. I’m not sure the description is entirely accurate as it could do with a paint freshen up and a decent clean. I wouldn’t described it as high end. The place isn’t called Goldcroft when you get there either so it is a bit confusing. It’s called Tregullan.

The bathrooms were shabby. Could do with a regrout and better fittings. The shower in the ensuite temperamental. The oven has the temperature gauges missing so that was pot luck. There was no baking trays or dishes to use to cook anything. Soup spoons instead of tablespoons, missed matched glasses. No full sets of anything. The hot tub area is lacking in character. Could make it look a bit more appealing otherwise it’s just an enclosed deck with spiders EVERYWHERE.

Absolutely nothing, it was disgusting, the mattresses were rotten, even the mattress protector was stained. Carpets on stairs filthy. Bathrooms not fit for use, broken tiles in en-suite as you step out of shower, grout on floor tiles in main bathroom broken and mouldy. Bathroom cabinets rotten. Ornament above double bed held up with tacks dangerous as heavy item cook kill someone if landed on head while sleeping . Kitchen absolutely disgusting microwave unsafe with exposed rust same as washing machine. Knife sticky. Extraction fan dripping with grease. No carbon sheet in fan, actual fan cakes in grease also a fire hazard. Some brown object in crockery cubboard. Electric heater in lounge plastic broken dangerous to children. Garden lights hanging above dining tablet held on with tacks, cable and danger to children. Two sofas cover in dreadful blue covers to hide the badly stained sofas. The owner had not wanted to refund though eventually agreed to do so as had to find alternative accommodation. This property is not fit for purpose took over 50 pictures and sent to owner.

Everything was dirty dangerous cables filthy outdoor space, wouldn’t pay to use disgusting hot tub as an additional charge is made of £100. Dirty swimwear was left on floor by hut tub. If you have booked to stay here make sure you check everything mattresses floor tiles also floor in lounge damaged .
