Cozy Guesthouse with Terrace, BBQ & Lake Access

Lite eftersatt underhåll och bristfällig städning.

Gorgeous location, and 5-8 minute walk from bus stop which takes you straight into Stockholm. Beautiful hidden lake with small beach and large grass area just 10-15 minutes walk away. The house was spacious enough for 2, it's in a forest but with enough space to allow for sunlight every moment of the day (you just have to move). Bed was good, so we were happy with that, it's important for long term stays. Host was helpful and friendly, and made sure when there was a problem and he wasn't there to fix it, somebody else came to fix it straight away.

We stayed for 4 weeks to work, but would not recommend a lengthy stay like that unless you do not need to do zoomcalls or other intensive internet use. Also for a lengthy stay you want some more (and more decent) kitchen products, we have advised this to the owner. The interior design is unfortunately not very nice, we have commented to the owner, its a mish mash of old stuff.

We loved that it was a family-friendly place far from neighbors. Moreover, the hosts were away, so we have been alone the whole time and could just hear the nature. We used Strava app to see the walking routes, so we could explore more of Värmdö, Fågelbrolandet, Stavsnäs, Holö, Friden, Djurö and the neighborhood. Good connection with busses to Stavsnäs (Ica Nära) and Mölnvik (Maxi Ica, Värmdö Köpcentrum with many more shops and cafés).

That washing machine didn't work because of draining/sewing system problem, so we had to handwash our clothes for about two weeks.

Very nice host! Kevin helped us a lot with our needs. The house is in the forest, great environment, and we can park our car easily. We can also use the bike:D

Just felt that the pans are a bit old, but Kevin helped us by providing a better one. The stove works quite slow, but overall we like the stay.
