We booked Sophias retreat for 7 people the the kitchen come dining room was so small we were climbing over each other, one of the fridges contained a half filled cup of tea or something with mould on top, there was only 6 chairs around a very small table and there wa only 5 forks in the drawer, my daughter in law found some sort of sheet to hang over the bathroom window. Whoever took the photos was quite good he could of made our local refuse tip look like Kew gardens. On arrival the parking restrictions left you nowhere to park and the street plus the approach to the property had food and litter everywhere.. 7 days after we left my wife had to contact them and ask why our £150 fully refundable deposit had not been returned to our bank account.

Plenty of space even for a larger group. Relatively fast communication. Good shower and toilet. The apartment is very bright, which is a good thing.

Even though there are rooms and beds for a large group, the beds are still just spring mattresses without top mattresses. So when you turn over, you can feel every spring against your body. There were not enough shower towels, and none were delivered to us even though they were promised when we asked for them. When we got there, there were not enough glasses, forks or spoons. And there was no intact frying pan or pot, so it was a challenge to cook. However, they were brought the next evening when I asked for them. The smoke/fire alarm had been removed from the ceiling... There was a TV in one of the bedrooms, in addition to the living room, but it was not possible to use it. It did not have an antenna attached, so no channels could be seen. We could not get any channels to be seen from the living room no matter how hard we tried. But luckily Netflix worked! The pool table in the living room would have been great if the sticks were intact, the table was straight and the cloth was in good condition. The bathroom floor is a little broken and the bedroom cabinets and dressers are wobbly, use with care. A little better and more precise cleaning once a month would make the experience much more pleasant. It would be good if the cleaners could check that the dishes and utensils used for food preparation were intact and usable.

The house is lovely inside very big and lots or nice clean bedrooms.

The area isn't safe at all. The crime rate there is unbelievably high.if I had know this before hand wouldnt have taken children to the house. Also the tv dont work in the bedrooms and the pool table cant be used as the pool ques are completely broken.

Plenty of space. Room with pool table was a nice touch.

Location was in a quiet area but conveniently close to the centre. All facilities available and good value for money

We had 5 people staying but not enough bath towels to go round - some handle on bedroom doors were broken on arrival. WiFi is not great

Very clean and tidy and only 10 walk to town/station
