It was lovely to stay in such an interesting place. The hosts were lovely and there is a great wine shop in the hotel. It’s genuinely like staying the night in a museum.

There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room which was a bit of a let down. There is no breakfast served so it would be nice to have a at least coffee in the morning.

Incredible space, room was superb and the bathroom luxurious. Has a real sense of history. The people are very friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed this place. What stood out most is how unique it is — I’ve never stayed anywhere like this before. It feels like an old castle combined with a museum, which makes the whole experience truly special and memorable. The views were absolutely stunning. We checked in, were shown to our room, and that was it — we were actually the only guests in the entire hotel. It felt a bit eerie at night, and of course our imagination started running wild with thoughts of vampires and old lords, but all in good fun 😄 It was a little cold, so we used the air conditioning to warm up the room since there wasn’t a heater. But considering how old and historic the building is, that’s understandable. Overall, a very cool and unique experience — definitely something different from a typical stay.

The only downside was that there was just one pillow per person, and the bed was a bit too firm for our liking, which made it slightly uncomfortable to sleep. However, it didn’t really spoil the overall experience — it’s just less comfortable than what we’re used to. Also, the door felt quite flimsy and lightweight, and it was a bit difficult to close properly. That was probably the only real drawback.
