Luxury Haven: Heated Pool, AC & Sun

Everything was perfect for us! The house was very lovely and clean. The main bedrooms were spacious and the house had all the necessary supplies of towels, bathroom and cleaning supplies, etc. The pool was a good size and we got good use out of it. The driveway had space for 2 cars. The location was good, with some small cafes and bars nearby, though worth noting they are up some steep hills, as with most places in Madeira! Its also close to the beginning of the Levada Nova hiking trail, which is spectacular!

Zona calma. A casa estava muito limpa. É ampla e moderna, com comodidades acima da média. Todas as áreas da casa são grandes. Piscina agradável.Zona de churrasqueira fantástica!

Sa vue, ses équipements, l’organisation intérieure donnant de l’intimité à chacun, les grands dressings et son isolation phonique entre les différentes chambres. L’équipe de nettoyage très efficace et très sympathique. La maison est beaucoup plus jolie et agréable que sur les photos.

The house itself is spacious, modern, and well-equipped, making it a comfortable stay for a group.

However, there were some major inconveniences that impacted our experience. For a house meant to accommodate eight people, having only one key was extremely impractical. We traveled in two separate cars, making it difficult to coordinate outings. The main door locks automatically, and we accidentally locked ourselves out because we thought the other group had the key. We had to pay €40 for someone to let us in, which, while understandable, could have been easily avoided if multiple keys were provided. We also encountered several appliance issues that disrupted our stay. The washing machine had a major leak, requiring us to deal with the mess and wait for maintenance. The fridge’s ice machine was completely frozen over, so we had to thaw and remove the ice buildup ourselves. Additionally, the pool light only turned on late at night, making it useless during the evening when we actually wanted to use it. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, dishware, and glasses, which we appreciated. However, the non-stick cooking pans were heavily scratched and should have been replaced a long time ago. The water filter/ice machine on the fridge was quite moldy, which was off-putting. We appreciated the small touches that made the place child-friendly, such as the crib and the bowls/utensils for kids. The outdoor barbecue was a nice feature, but unfortunately, it is located at the back of the house, so you can’t enjoy the view while eating. One thing to be aware of—we only found out about the hefty fee to heat the pool after we booked. It would have been helpful if this was clearly disclosed upfront. Overall, this house has great potential, but the lack of foresight in key management, maintenance issues, and hidden fees made our stay less smooth than it should have been. With better planning and upkeep, this could be an excellent rental.

Duże sypialnie, poza sypialnią z oddzielnymi łóżkami, bardzo wygodne materace. Salon połączony w tarasem z wyjściem do basenu ze świetnym widokiem na zachody słońca. Ogólnie duży, wygodny dom. Miejsce na grilla super. Ogromna lodówka z kostkarką do lodu. Dostępna pralka i suszarka do prania. Fajna okolica, spokojna, w pobliżu plaża i Levada. Wygodne miejsce na samochód (a nawet dwa).

Na 8 osób w apartamencie w nie słoneczne dni nie starczało ciepłej wody. Musieliśmy kąpać się w zimnej wodzie. Sypialnia z oddzielnymi łóżkami jest nieporównywalna do pozostałych, nadaje się dla dzieci, dla dorosłych za ciasno. Brak podstawowych produktów w kuchni, tj. kawa, herbata, przyprawy. Bardzo małe ilości papieru toaletowego. Jednak wszystkie zalety tego miejsca przewyższają tych kilka minusów.
