Area 3251 Desert Valley Guest Suite

Nous avons renoncé à dormir à cette adresse. Le descriptif manque de réalisme. Sur booking on devrait savoir plus clairement si nous arrivons « chez l’habitant » ou dans un établissement hôtelier. Pour le Area 3251, aucune indication à l’entrée, nous avons erré une heure dans une zone mi-chantier, mi-banlieue. Lieu peu rassurant, totalement hors ville. Le propriétaire ne savait pas que nous arrivions et nous a renvoyé disant que booking ce n’était pas chez lui. Au second passage, une heure plus tard, il nous a accueilli très gentiment mais la chambre minuscule et toute sombre ne correspondait pas à notre attente. Nous avons payé et sommes partis réserver une chambre dans un hôtel à proximité avec tout le confort, pour presque quart du prix de notre réservation chez Area 3251. Je ne comprends pas les commentaires très positives des autres clients. Nous avons vécu malheureusement une autre expérience. Booking devrait mieux cadrer les descriptifs pour qu’ils correspondent à la réalité.

Some bugs at night

Wifi was ok, it was quite clean

Just horrible. We have booked and paid 4 nights, but stayed only 3. There was an extreme intensive smell in that very small room. They must have spilled some scenting fluid. Even with the windows and the door completely open, just unbearable. Not much better after 3 days.        The window is quite small, so we left the door open. Very soon, there were 50-100 flies in the room.        It is tiny and cramped with old furniture. On booking.com it says 580, but the room is only about 130 sqft (12sqm)! That's why the bed is in the corner and it is very uncomfortable to get in or out.        The whole cabin seems self made and very unprofessionally and superficially done so.        The TV has the size of a laptop screen, the towels smell of old cigarette smoke.        Then there are the dogs, running free on the premises now and then. So be careful (and fast) on the way to the car.

So cosy, had everything we needed and was lovely to stay in a place a little bit different, especially after being on the road for two weeks and staying in motels! Psalm was also so easy and nice to communicate with.
