The property is very quaint, historic, clean and the owner is the nicest man! Made us our coffees every morning. Sat with us for our morning chit chat and fed us is home grown cherries!

"Wunderschönes Quartier in der Altstadt"

Das Hotel liegt in einem 500 Jahre alten kleinen Gebäude mitten in der Altstadt von Monopoli, wenige Schritte vom zentralen Garibaldi-Platz entfernt. Unser Zimmner mit Flur war sehr geräumig und bequem und originell eingerichtet. Online check-in und die elektronischen Schlösser haben problemlos funktioniert. Der Wirt war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und das Frühstück sehr gut mit landestypischen Elementen.

Nicht zu ändern in so einem alten Haus sind die steilen Treppen, die herausfordernd sein können. Ebenfalls nicht zu ändern ist, dass es keine Stellplätze für Autos gibt, da das Hotel im Fußgängerbereich des Zentrums liegt. Für die Suche kann man die vom Wirt gegebenen oder aus dem Internet bezogenen Tipps berücksichtigen, sollte aber am besten nicht nach 15 Uhr ankommen, weil man sonst u.U. viel Geduld braucht. Das Wohnen in einer ruhigen Altstadtstraße ist es aber allemal wert!

Location was excellent, room and facilities also great. Terrace on the roof was a bonus. They have a great entry system that doesn’t need keys or cards - great.

The only downside was the emptying of glass bottles from the restaurants every couple of nights - not an issue if you kept the double glazed windows shut.

El alojamiento está ubicado en el centro histórico y es agradable. El desayuno es bueno. Creo que es un lugar ideal para ir sin auto y con pocas maletas.

La cama y almohadas son muy duras y falta un refrigerador en la habitación, aunque tiene la opción de una heladera en el piso donde se desayuna. Tuvimos serios inconvenientes con las valijas para transpórtalas desde el lugar donde dejamos el coche hasta el alojamiento ya que no tuvimos indicaciones ni ayuda del anfitrión. Pudimos superarlo con la ayuda de personas externas al alojamiento.
