Large 5 Bedroom 3.5 Bathroom house garden/driveway hot tub

Hi Lloyd, Thank you for your message. I wanted to be honest with our feedback as we were quite disappointed overall. The weather was absolutely fabulous during our stay, but unfortunately the whole back garden area really wasn’t in a position to cater for guests properly. We had hoped to enjoy breakfast and meals outside, however there weren’t even the basic requirements such as a proper table and seating area for everyone to sit around comfortably. The grass looked dead, unkempt and as though it hadn’t been touched in quite some time. You were very quick to ask for extra money for the hot tub, which we paid, but there was no privacy at all as it was completely open to neighbouring properties. A gazebo, screening or even a large umbrella would have made a huge difference as we felt quite uncomfortable using it. The stools outside were very rickety and didn’t feel safe to sit on in case they collapsed, and overall there was nowhere comfortable to relax outdoors despite the high temperatures. Considering we paid a considerable amount of money for just two days, it was disappointing to feel stuck indoors most of the time. I do think the property has potential, but the garden area really needs investment and attention, even just covering the basics such as cutting the grass, improving the seating and creating a more welcoming outdoor space for guests.

Location and cleanliness. Spacious house and easy access. Was very comfortable inside with nice the heating temperatures had been increased. Hot tub was worth adding.

Lack of appliances eg air fryer. Should have provided bleach, only had pink stuff spray. The grass was not cut which would have made that space more appealing. Many bulbs were missing or not working. No tv streaming services provided which was listed.

Everything, the property was secure and very big!

Just needed a few more mugs for cups of tea in the morning 😂

Did pretty much as it said on the "tin" - as we had hoped and expected.

We were a group of 6 - any more and we might have had a few issues with enough plates, cups, glasses ect. This is not the owners fault, just a comment. We were all aware of a strong smell of stale smoke, I imagine a previous tenant had not followed the house rules regarding no smoking inside. Even our PJs stank when we got home. As I say not something the owners would have had any control of until previous tenants had left .... but maybe a wee heads-up or acknowledgement from owners prior to arrival would not have gone a miss.
