The proximity to the hospital was great

Owner is unbelievable rude. Original ad mentioned private parking was available (nothing about an additional charge this has subsequently been changed) regardless took multiple attempts to confirm late check in was ok and parking was available. Eventually confirmation was given that parking had been reserved for the duration of my stay. No mention about additional charges or request to pay. On arrival there was no parking. Contacted property owner got no response. Was somewhat distracted by my sister serious surgery to chase the property owner. Had to park in the street and ended up with a fine as its permits only. Messaged owner again and was told I never reserved a parking. When I sent their confirmation message I was met with rudeness and then told to take it up with bookings.com. Lots of rules sent post cancellation date. Considering the cleaning fees the apartment is not reflective that it had been property cleaned recently. Towels are worn, sheets are stained. Doors don’t work properly especially the lock downstairs. The big green edit button doesn’t work and the downstairs door jams. The code works about one out of every 3 entries. Save yourself the hassle stay somewhere else.

Host was rude and called me a liar! I contacted him through the booking app in july for a september arrival requesting an early check in or to at least drop off luggage. I was contacted the day before my arrival. coming from USA that was 3 hours before my time to leave for the airport. He wanted (and did) charge me 40 GBP I asked about possibly reducing the cost and he refused. When I arrived at the property, no conact, no code nothing. Booking helped me get in touch and he was very rude. insisting I refused to pay, when I clearly said I would. The outside of the property was trashed. toilet seat, trash, wire, etc. laying in the bushes. THE UNIT WAS NEVER CLEANED EVEN AFTER I PAID THE 40 GBP. I can provide pictures of messages and the unit. 3 windows could not close all the way so we heard busses all night. there was one chair next to a table. usually there are 2 chairs, well I found the leg of the 2nd broken chair near the window and the exsiting chair would not support anyone sitting in it without breaking. The decorations included small figures of female abdomens. The climate control was not adjustable. The toilet seat would suddenly shift due to improper installation. The bathroom sink did not drain properly. There was and over abundance of air fresheners to hide the smell of mold. This cost me over 500GBP for 3 nights. Next time I will pay 750 GBP for the courtyard marriott.

Lack of lamps bins and a table you can sit around

Good location. A parent was ill at the John Radcliff and I needed to be near-by to visit him. It is easily a 2 minute walk until you enter the JR's grounds from the house, which is excellent. Shops are also down the road. Whether you fancy a Starbucks coffee, need groceries from the supermarket or enjoy Lebanese cuisine, you will not be disappointed. Again, this is all within a 1/2 minute walk of the unit. Taxi drivers all found the property easy to find. The area was great, with a solid multi-cultural vibe which I enjoyed a lot!

I was pleased with what I had

The location is excellent and easy access to all ( 2 mins walk to shops / markets and Bus Stops and very close to JR hospital (NHS) . The facilities are awesome especially the Kitchen items. In addition to everything, the landlord/owner of this property is too supportive & easily accessible at any time.

A few extras would have made it exceptionable. Only one waste bin (in the kitchen) Need a small flip top in the bathroom. Bright lights in the bedroom (Could do with a bedside lamp or dimmer switch) Slippery shower tray (Need a non slip mat for optional use -take your own) No dining table - only a low coffee table Otherwise we’ll equipped.
