No instructions given for car parking prior to arrival. Drove up a difficult lane unnecessarily.
Nice place to stay but the bathroom downstairs floods and there is a moisture problem in the adjoining bedroom. The kitchen is also poorly fitted and obviously coming apart in places. But generally it’s a lovely cottage.
GBThe location was perfect however, on entering the property we were surprised by the amount of dead woodlice on the ground floor. I realise it's an old building but it must have been quite some time since the downstairs floor had been brushed/hoovered. Going upstairs to the kitchen and lounge area is what disappointed us the most. Suffice to say the first thing we had to do was clean (not what we wanted nor expected). The settee had stains which looked awful so I covered them over using a colourful bedspread from one of the bedrooms (which were nicely presented as were the bathrooms). All in all, we would not return nor recommend this property.
