The Rose 106: Modern Studio Aprt in City Centre

Good location within very close walking distance to De Waterkant and the city. Lovely rooftop pool deck. Compact apartment that was clean on arrival.

I had the most ridiculous experience having to amend my booking where everyone I spoke to pushed me to someone else who wasn't empowered to actually make a decision who then pushed me to someone else, and this cycle continued for 4 days. The lady at the front desk tried to be helpful but was powerless to actually sort out my problem, which could have had a more straightforward solution than I realised (making me even more annoyed). A great example of policy, hierarchy and control hindering guest experience. On the edge of Bo Kaap, so pack earplugs if you don't want to be woken by the 5:30am call to prayer.

No breakfast included in the booking but we had the nice one at Halo Coffee Shop in the reception 😋

pin of the door was changed while we in the room door the room was opened by the stuff twice with me and my wife inside left us very uncomfortable

They are not flexible with times: 15:00 is kind of late and check out at 10:00 and you can’t negotiate. They must put in mops in rooms the shower water comes out and damps in the kitchen

Was in a lovely building.

The size. It was smaller than I thought.
