Ground floor apartment Casa Pico, Parque Santiago 1, heated pool, 100 m to sea and beach, wifi

The apartment is in a fantastic location , very close to the beach, promenade and town center. The salt water pool was amazing and the complex felt very safe , friendly and clean. Good kitchen facility and living room area Ceiling fans in each room were appreciated. Bars, restaurants and shops located very close 20 mins drive from the airport

The rooms have glass panels which can be a little bit of a privacy issue especially with the bathroom. it faces the living room and you can see through the door.

The apartment needs to be updated badly . On the first day, I had to do cleaning as the apartment wasn't clean , hair on the floor in the bathroom . I had to wash all towels they were smelly like wasnt washed, just dried from previous visitors. The single bed wasn't bed it was a faldable bed that my child ended up sleeping on the floor 😒 Fan in the sitting room didn't work the oven door couldn't close without pushing . Garden !!!grass up to knees broken sunbeds in the corner ( very disappointing) To be fair for over 1k, I would expect a bit more effort than what we got

Location was very good, close to seafront walk, restaurants, shops etc. It was secure, gated & had a nice sunny terrace with adjustable awning. The kitchenette was quite well equipped.

Cupboard doors needed maintenance, bedclothes were worn, the garden had a broken lounger & mirror. The glass in doors reduced privacy.

Good sized apartment, good location on well kept complex.

Dated and tired apartment, poorly maintained with numerous 'issues' most of which had previously been reported so clearly the owner is not interested in resolving the problems or is employing incompetent contractors. I suspect the former is more likely. Water heater (gas boiler wall mounted in the kitchen area) smells of carbon monoxide when operating. No carbon monoxide or smoke alarms fitted. No evidence of boiler 'service' or safety inspections. Soft furnishing's, bed sheets, duvet covers etc all old and threadbare and need replacing. Seating for 3 adults in the living area, in an apartment that potentially sleeps 5 ?. etc, etc. This list is far from exhaustive....... but I can see little point in wasting my time further. As a minimum the apartment needs a professional 'deep clean' and a couple of days maintenance by competent contractors. Better still it requires a total refurbishment. The garden area is unkept, with a broken mirror, lighting panel and sunbed dumped against the sidewall.

The location is good.

Dirty and outdated. Beds terrible and torn sheets (dirty earpin on nightstand). Heavy doors, garden without handling, broken sunbed, chair and cushion filty and molded, mold in bathtub, taped wires on light in bath, souderwebs and dirty floor corners. Gave up after 3 nights, was refused refund of the 4 remaining nights. Had to pay hotel for remainder of stay.

I liked the location of the property and that it was 2 bedroom and suitable for a family. I liked that we had an enclosed garden too so the toddler was more secure.

the glass doors for the bedrooms and bathroom. I felt like there was no privacy in the bathroom due to this and also if someone had a light on in the apartment the whole bedroom would light up due to the glass in the doors.
