Hidden retreat in the heart of the city - 2 Bed Apt

The location was fantastic - and although the property is in a busy area the apartment was quiet. The place was a good size and had everything we needed for our stay. I would 100% recommend this place to others and would stay here again in the future if I need to return to Nottingham.

Just a couple of small things..... If you have large heavy suitcases be aware that this apartment is on the third floor of a Georgian building. The stairs are steep and many. Also - the Wifi is slow and intermittent so if you intend to do some work during your stay plan for disruption. The other small thing to note is that the shower isn't great - the shower hose leaks meaning the showerhead lacks pressure.

Access to local amenities can’t fault

Het appartement is in het centrum van Nottingham en dus is alles op loopafstand. Het appartement is mooi ingericht.

Er kwam geen warm water uit de kranen; in de keuken moesten we water koken om af te wassen. De bedden zijn piepklein en nauwelijks 2 persoons te noemen. De parkeerplaats die genoemd wordt in de beschrijving is alleen beschikbaar in het weekend en is achter het appartement. Dat zou fijn geweest, als er niet junkies op die parkeerplaats lagen/zaten. Wij hebben ervoor gekozen om de auto in de parkeergarage te zetten tegen hoge kosten. Toen ik dat aan de host liet weten, reageerde hij slechts met de zin; ik hoop dat je inmiddels gesettled bent?

location was excellent. Host was very communicative and helpful. Everything was on hand and catered for.

Alleyway was not ideal, but this is not a fault of the host. Homeless person sleeping there for one of the nights, and alley was being used as a toilet. There were also lots of bags which blocked the pathway, but this was not a major issue. The stairs are steep which we were aware about, there was also a musty smell.

At first I was a bit disappointed as entrance smelt very musty and could do wish new flooring up stairs. I was pleasantly surprised by apartment , spotless inside , bedrooms lovely. My daughter thought it was very retro and loved it, could have done with a frying pan ! Right in the heart of the town so quite noisy but everything around you.

Lots of narrow stairs , which was said on description , onlybthey are very steep if you struggle with that
