Spacious 3 Bedroom Home on South Shields Coast

House was clean, comfy, amenities good and location was good too, probably better if had time to explore

Few long hairs on bedding and bedroom drawers not free of previous tenants. Also, my dog picked up on vibes which made us both anxious on first night, second night was more comfortable. However, quiet, clean, garden very dog friendly and he loved it. Rooms were lovely.

Location was ok, it was the reason we picked this accommodation.

Fridge, cooker and sink were dirty on arrival, had to spend an hour cleaning on arrival before unpacking our foodstuff and making a meal. The kitchen towel did not look or smell clean (it went into the washing machine that night) and the washing up sponge looked as if it had been previously used by last guests. Bough new sponge the following day.

Had entire property to ourselves and a lovely garden in the back. Was a nice location for walks and had a brilliant view of the skyline from the hill behind the property in the night time. Spacious and bright and airy inside the living room and bedrooms. Easy to use tv and appliances. Nice easy driveway for parking our car. Quiet neighbourhood. Easy self check-in (which we love) and hosts were amazing at communication and answering any questions we had. Overall nice relaxing time! Thank you 😊

Sofa was a little hard but we brought spare duvet and used the cushions to make it comfier. Same with the mattresses. But this didn’t ruin our stay. 😊

Bedrooms were comfy and clean. Excellent heating and hot water.

Cleanliness wasn’t great in the kitchen- the recycling section of the bin was full on our arrival. The fridge wasn’t clean; some plates, cutlery had food on them. There was a greasy tray in the oven. There was a broken tv/monitor discarded on back garden lawn.

Close to the sea, the neighbourhood is very quiet. Heating problem on the first day, solved on the second day,

no hair dryer.

It was perfect for what we needed, the facilities were all great. The shower was also brilliant

Good sized rooms, lovely soft and fluffy towels. Good that there was parking and outdoor space. Comprehensive guide to both the house and surrounding area, which was both practical and very thoughtful. Host was most accommodating when we accidentally left something behind. Great venue for our short stay. Thank you.

Although the bathroom window was frosted and not really overlooked, I would have preferred a blind or curtain in addition. Sofas were a little hard. Slightly odd smell in the bathroom.
