Snug 1 Bed Apartment in Derbyshire with Free Parking

Good accommodation facilities but in view of the other issues there was no way I would be favourable about the accommodation.

Prior to my arrival, the owners sent a link to follow asking for a £100 safety deposit by following a link. This seemed like a scam as this is not something I have experienced previously. They insisted this was genuine and would not provide any access codes despite the booking having already been fully paid. On my day of arrival, a series of messages were sent back and forth, and the owners were adamant that they would not allow me to have door access codes without paying another £100 and providing an I.D. document by a registration process. In the end, I had no option to pay it as I was working away, so I would have had no overnight accommodation. They sent terse and quite rude messages to me. Then about after an hour of waiting outside my accommodation well after the payment had been acknowledged (9:40 P.M.), an automated message via an App was sent with the door codes. It then came to my attention that I could not park outside my Studio Apartment as there would be a £100 fine by a parking company as mentioned in the instructions. Wifi was not working despite the owner's assurances. They stated "an inspection" of the premises would take place before the security deposit of £100 would be refunded within 7 days. I took photos at the time of leaving in case of any false claims that the deposit would be unreturned on the grounds of damage and clearance costs. A message was sent two days after my departure that £100 had been credited to my credit card, so presumably, I passed their "inspection." With all things there needs to be an element of trust and treating guests in such contempt is totally unacceptable. On the contrary, I stayed with a lovely Aoartment host the previous night elsewhere where there were generous cereals, bread, and eggs and every effort to make me feel welcome. Overall, it is a place to be avoided unless automation and impersonal contacts is your style.

All good except smart tv didn't work on internet at all, but will be better when this is fixed.

Cute studio apartment! Very clean & organised.

Quite a few spiders as the windows were cracked when we arrived! Also couldn’t get the Netflix to work as the tv kept saying there was a network issue!

Great apartment for a 4 night stay. Amazing responsiveness from the support staff. Will definitely use again.
