"Provided exactly what we needed."

8.0

Very convenient for the family event we were travelling for, plus helpful that there was a pub across the road that serves food, especially as we arrived in the evening. Tesco is a couple of miles up the main road, plus several holiday parks in the area with restaurants that also serve breakfast. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and there were nice touches such as tea/coffee and mini chocolate bars.

It was difficult to find as the property is in a rural area where houses have names not numbers. 'Opposite the pub' was a clue, but misleading since we found 2 pubs. Specific directions- i.e. having turned off the A52 by The Four Cross Roads pub, go over the bridge and the farmhouse is immediately on your right- would have been helpful.

"Lovely apartment with everything you need."

9.0

Great location, just opposite the pub. Sat outside with a drink and enjoyed the sunshine whilst playing a game of cards.

Upon arrival, the signs in front of the parking mentioned top flat and bottom flat, which threw me as this hadn’t been mentioned before. I thought I read that the garden was enclosed for the dog, but it wasn’t and was adjacent to the road. Not a problem for us, as our dog is well behaved and stays close.

"A surprisingly big and comfortable place."

10.0

A really spacious and homely cottage. Parking was off road and secure. The cottage was surprisingly big with plenty of space and a lovely outside seating area. The bed was massive and really comfortable and the blinds in the bedroom meant it was really dark. The kitchen had all the essential equipment needed. There is a great pub within 2 minutes walk which walk from the property. The garden was good for exercising the dog although it isn’t fenced in so we had to keep her on a lead. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

"Relaxing weekend away, perfect"

10.0

The Firs was perfect for a short stay away. We had all we needed during our break away and had a very comfortable relaxing weekend away. The Firs was clean, nicely maintained with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom, a comfortable seating area and very comfortable beds. We will try and book again when staying in the area.

There is a slight smell of damp but i suppose this can be expected in an old property and it did not impact us that much to affect what a lovely property this is.
