Really lovely apartment, really close to the station

I didn’t appreciate the multiple messages and emails a day reminding me to check out at 10am. There was even a sign on the back of the front door. Personally this tainted the experience for me, wasn’t able to enjoy or relax fully because of all the reminders.

"It was a tragedy to book our stay here, meeting the indifferent host. Would never come again."

It’s a terrible experience. I won’t come back again. The temperature was around 10 degree Celsius. We noticed we did not have any hot water after dinner on the first night, it was already 10:00pm. We sent messages, called the hotline, of course, no answer at all. We then looked up the welcome package and there was a session talking about hot water. We followed the instruction, waited, waited and waited. We did not have any hot water that night and we gave up at 0400. The whole family did not have shower at all. The next morning, I received messages from the host. Somehow the programmed hot water time just passed and we got hot water. The host sent her agent and technician to have a look regarding our boiler. they could not identify the problem and we did not have hot water again, shortly they left. I sent messages to the host again and got very indifferent replies, she said, “The water in the tank takes time to heat up and once it has gone, it’s gone” “If you run bath after bath it needs time to heat up in between” “I asked you not to change your plans and wait in but you said you were staying in anyway” “I’m not sure what else I can possibly do” First of all, we did treasure regarding the hot water, we did not take bath after bath. In fact, we all took short quick shower. Second, imagine, we waited till 0400 on the first night, we were all physically exhausted. We have no energy to continue the original plan at all. We could not have any hot water on the second night as well. The real engineer came on the third day. He verified it was an equipment failure. First of all, the host programmed the heating time for few hours only over the whole day. Second, someone changed the thermostat themselves which was not functioning and therefore the machine could not boil the water even though we pressed the “Boost” button. The engineer changed the thermostat at the end.

As we didn’t know the roads and walked from the train station, it was very very confusing.

A map of the estate, where the key is and where the front door was would have been helpful.
