2 Bedroom Caravan NV13, Lower Hyde, Shanklin, Isle of Wight

Our favourite holiday park to stay on the island. Modern style van, spacious.

1 of the 2 toilet seats were broken, pre warned so not a problem. On arrival, glass light dome had fallen from ceiling on to the double bed. Email sent to report but no response. Very informative information pack however, the section on leaving reviews was not really acceptable, ultimately anything less than 5 stars or 10 out if 10 was not an acceptable review to leave.

The caravan was clean and tidy.

The caravan was very tired looking, beds were very uncomfortable and the whole caravan was very cold. I did emailed office but had no reply, The radiators did not get very warm at all. If I had booked through the park itself, lm sure the maintenance guys would have looked at the heating system. So all in all not a great experience, I don't think I would book again.

Beds very uncomfortable, Sofas in the lounge also uncomfortable ,you sink into them and feel the bars from the pull out beds. Hand rail to van is loose

Gorgeous caravan, very homely. Beds were very comfy and it was extremely well kitted out, we didnt want for anything. The location was superb for children getting to entertainment complex, we will definately book again! Thank you 😊

Der Caravan steht in ruhiger Lage in einem Wendehammer mit schöner Terrasse. Großzügige Abstände zu den Nachbarn. Zweckmäßige Einrichtung.

Das Besteck war teilweise knapp. Ein Schneidebrett und eine Salatschüssel wären gut. Sonst eher optische Mängel, aber okay für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

The location was amazing.

The caravan was dirty , bedding wasn’t washed and smelt really funny and mouldy almost. Decking outside is broken I tripped down it as it moves and is wobbly. Staff are really rude. Was accused of smoking inside although I was staying with a 1 year old so definitely would not of been smoking.. the shower hose is also broken

The location was picturesque and the caravans had good space between them enabling privacy. There was a cosy lounge space with a fire place which made it feel homely. The bedroom had a great amount of space and plenty of storage. The bed was very comfortable and the duvets were thick which made you drift off easily.The inside of the caravan was impeccably tidy. There was a shop on site that had all essentials. We took our dog with us and the outside decking space was invaluable. It also had great seats which were both sturdy and comfortable. Was only a 5 min drive to the beach with a fabulous fish and chip shop and a lovely walkway with ample seating to enjoy the views. There was also a fantastic ice cream parlour and an arcade. An ideal getaway for the weekend.

The only small critique was the outside of the caravan could have done with a wash down as was a bit grotty .

Everything! The site is lovely and friendly. We came at the end of the season and it was very quiet. The van is really nice and very well thought through. It is well equipped and very comfy. There is a Lidl right next door, and a wonderful walk that, if you are lucky, you light see red squirrels.y son took part in the football and had fun.
