Oxfords 5 Star Lux 2 bedroom Flat near JR 5 pax, permit parking

The inside was tidy but was expecting more as it is described as 5 star luxury. Were only there for one night so didn’t use many facilities but looked as though it was well catered for.

The area - a council flat is not what you’d expect from the description, especially when coming from overseas and not familiar with areas etc. We thought we had taken a wrong turn. It is much further from Oxford city than what we had imagined from looking at maps prior to booking (that was an us problem) and it was very noisy. It definitely wasn’t worth the amount charged unfortunately.

The apartment was a very nice surprise to us. It is modern, very clean and light, has a lot of facilities (balcony, washing machine, spacious bathroom with good Shower and hot water, two larged bedrooms, espresso machine, toaster, large fridge, spacious sitting room with dining table and a work area, shower amenities, coffee/tea). We parked the car in front of the place. There is a very short and easy 4 min walk to the nearest bus station with many buses leading to Oxford city. While at first glance the neighborhood looked less suited for tourists, it was very quiet with many families living there (also children's playgrounds). Highly recommended - a great value for money place.

Something we knew, the location is close to the main ring road around Oxford but we had no trouble sleeping etc. as the windows are quite thick.

Location is in a deadend street next to the A4, we had to close the windows because of the noise of the cars. walls are very thin hence we heard the neighbour babies and early risers (6am) making a good night sleep difficult.

Excellent flat which was spotless clean. Decor was lovely as a modern posh apartment. All the Amenities were there and finishing touches catered for ie coffee machine and even spare new toothbrushes and toothpaste if you forget yours. Communication from host was spot on and very helpful

Nothing to report about in particular. At 1st glance the area where the flat is, did not look great however there are definatly NO complaints as all was well

10 minutes walk to bus stop, easy visit town center, easy parking

Clean, spacious, tidy

Great flat. We were not too sure about the location at first but had no issues at all. It’s nice and quiet and well linked with buses. The flat was very clean and well equipped. Bedrooms are both nicely sized and living room is lovely. We would definitely consider booking again.

Really handy flat for what we needed, the owner had thought through what visitors would want for a residential stay, though we were only there one night! You can hear the ring road, but that is the location we needed. The owner was very helpful, considerate and easy to contact - the self check in worked perfectly.
