Lovely Caravan At Lower Hyde Holiday Park, Isle Of Wight Ref 24001G

The location, spacious caravan, own parking bay. Very well equipped caravan.

Double mattress was a bit dirty and very uncomfortable springs sticking in back all night. Single mattress was uncomfortable with the springs. Shower kept going hot and cold when you was showering. On arrival the tap was running tried to turn off and it went faster but I went to reception and reported the issue and they came straight away and fixed the tap. The carpet from kitchen to living area is a trip hazard.

Brilliant location. Near the train station. All places easy to get too

Condition of the caravan. Cooker didn't work properly, carpet was coming up. Tap leaked in the bathroom, and table in the sitting area pealing.

It was not cleaned properly prior to our stay. It needs a deep clean.

Great location, large private car park space, spacious lounge and kitchen area, easy check in and out.

Needs a clean, only part that was clean was the floors and windows. Crumbs all over sofa, carpet not sealed on edge from lounge to kitchen so kept tripping over it, bathroom wall covered in stains, small bedroom walls dirty, kettle left full of water so was smelly, birds living in gutters so woke us up each morning. All mattresses are very uncomfortable and springs stick out. Some duvets/pillows had stains on them. Wrong number in the window outside (says 12 instead of 1). Didn’t notice until end of first day that boiler had been switched off at the mains so no hot water - this was intermittent all weekend so when having a shower had a blast of cold water every minute. No welcome file or pack so knew nothing about the caravan or the park.

Nice area, close to shops, and only 5-10 minutes from the beach. The property has all your basics.

Some things, although working like the table and L shape sofa drawer, look in disrepair.

Location of caravan in the park was superb overlooking a valley of other caravans. Near supermarket and bus route. Spacious and well equipped caravan. A bonus that the WC is separate to shower (although being an 8 berth, could benefit from 2nd WC). Good heating (needed in February).

Windows very drafty. Tired in areas ( carpet to lino needs attention, trip hazard). Outside was filthy so first impressions not good (green and weathered). Dirty spot on bed sheet, needed a wipe.

Nice Caravan in a well maintained and family friendly park. Great facilities and good food on the premises. On foot to the beach in 30 Minutes
