USI really liked the location. It was still within easy driving or walking distance of several great places to eat and shop, but it is far enough from downtown to avoid the craziness.
I feel like the beds could have been a bit more comfortable. Our room had 2 queen beds with creaky metal frames. One of them had a fitted sheet and mattress protector that were not the correct size and kept coming off of the mattress each night.
USLocation was great and the trolley stop is convenient right at the motel. The outside fireplace was beautiful. We didn't get to use the pool since it was cold and raining but it looked really nice. The rooms have keyless door entry and I didn't realize there would be nobody running the office area so it made check-in a little difficult at first. The rooms were lovely and rustic. I will definitely stay again!
The check-in process was confusing and the phone number was hard to reach someone.
USThis place is absolutely amazing! Couldn't have booked a better place for location , cleanest and overall quality and comfort. The grounds well kept and the fire pit at might was awesome. We'll definitely be coming back to Stonegate Lodge. Thank you for a great experience!

Didn’t like fox skins so close to head and pillows. Didn’t like the rough wood bathroom door it kept snagging clothes and scratching us. Did not care for trap as door handle. Hard to use. Door needs to be shoved off on bottom it kept hanging up when trying to open or close. Didn’t like the steaming tv or having to use ground coffee in Keurig pot. Not enough space to hang clothes. I don’t like not having someone on site to provide help when needed. Didn’t like to have to send an email and wait on a response. I turned the mattress on one of the beds, because the first two nights I felt like I was sleeping in a hole and then when I turn the mattress turned it around and it was amazing the last night because I was not sleeping in a hole
