The best choice we could have made for our trip. The apartment is gorgeous, equipped only with high-quality items, and the view is stunning. The owner is very attentive and thoughtful with every detail. The location is great — close to the most beautiful beaches on the island and with easy access to many parts of the island. We loved it and would definitely come back!

1401 is the place to stay if you want a central location to a small score of locally owned restaurants/grocery stores, a beautiful beach (Mullet Bay) all within a 5 min walk, gated parking, a well-appointed apartment with every amenity one could possibly want with an amazing view and the most attentive, knowledgeable host. I have nothing but rave reviews and would highly recommend.

Most incredible apartment located very close to everything. Likely also the best host Ive had on any booking that ever had so far. kind, responsive, easy to deal and work with and solution oriented. there is no doubt; am i coming back to SXM then i will be staying here!

This condo was immaculate! It was sparkling clean with a beautiful view from each room. Nella (the owner) is extraordinarily detail oriented. She was very communicative and provides a book with recommendations and instructions. As a frequent traveler, I very much appreciate her thoroughness and attention to detail. She has many special touches throughout her condo to provide a more luxurious and comfortable experience such as thick towels and soft sheets-not the basic level items most condos provide. Nella’s condo is beautifully decorated and has comfortable furniture inside and outside. The pictures do not do it justice. I would definitely stay at her condo again!

Our only complaint was when the management company decided to work on both elevators at once without notice. Being fourteen floors up, it would have been nice to be informed that both elevators would be unavailable at the same time so we could plan around it. However, tenants from the building that live there all of the time told us that this was not a common occurrence. Obviously safety would be the first priority. It would have been helpful if the management company of the building was as communicative as the owner of the condo unit itself. This minor mishap would not prevent me from staying in this condo again. I would definitely book nellas condo again!
