Avani Plus Fares Maldives Resort

The island and the property are great, nice new and clean rooms. The quality of food in the restaurants is good, same as the variety that is offered (if you get access to it, see below). The house reef is amazing and walking around the island is really relaxing.

In the beginning, the staff seemed very forward thinking and as they were on top of organizational details. Weeks before arrival, they said they would check with our prior hotel to ensure the transfer from the old hotel to Avani works well. The day before, they still could not confirm the transfer times and we ended up spending 5h in the transfer lounge even though there would have been an earlier flight but they did not book us on that one, that was a bit annoying. We then arrive and our host tells us during the welcome he booked all the dinner experiences for us, turns out beside the buffet restaurant everything is booked and only with several asks we could have one single reservation at one of the other restaurants. The diving school had communication issues with the host (who manages communication with the guests) and I missed my last slot to dive before flying, again an inconvenience considering diving was one of our main priorities and reasons for booking this resort. Overall, it feels like you very much have to chance the hotel team to get good service which is out of balance for the price.

Moderne Zimmer, direkte Strandlage, Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die ganze Anlage ist neu und gepflegt. Anreise und Abreise vom Flughafen Male mit Wasserflugzeug sehr gut organisiert.

Die Anlage ist mit 180 Zimmern sehr groß, bei Vollbelegung ist das Hauptrestaurant Ocean auf Buffetbasis dann überfüllt, besser auf die Restaurants Charcoal und Skipjack ausweichen. Im Charcoal konnte man auch schön a la carte frühstücken. Unbedingt Halbpension buchen, da die Restaurantpreise relativ hoch sind.

Our stay at Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort was absolutely unforgettable. We have visited other resorts in the Maldives before, so we do have a basis for comparison — and the quality here truly stood out. The island itself is quite new, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully laid out. It’s not a huge island, but for us it was absolutely perfect. It offers the ideal balance: peaceful relaxation combined with excellent programs and activities. One of the most impressive aspects was the incredible marine life. The house reef is amazing, and you don’t even have to go far from the shore to see stunning underwater wildlife. We saw turtles, swam with manta rays, and even spotted dolphins. A special highlight was the big game fishing trip. We caught red tuna, which was later prepared for us at the restaurant — and it was amazing! During the excursion, we were also served a high-quality breakfast and coffee, and the entire team was incredibly helpful and professional. The food throughout our stay was consistently good, beautifully presented, and delicious every single time. The cocktails were also fantastic — I even had a Pisco Sour, which is my favorite, and it was perfectly made. We would especially like to thank Aanim, our host during the vacation. He made our stay truly exceptional. He was attentive, kind, and always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. Thanks to him, everything was seamless. We highly recommend Avani+ Fares Maldives to anyone looking for a high-quality Maldivian experience with stunning nature, great design, outstanding food, amazing cocktails, and exceptional service. We can’t wait to return!

La struttura è nuova, ben attrezzata, pulitissima, collocata su una bella isola interamente circondata da spiagge. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Cibo buono e vario.

Nulla. Penso però sia un’isola ideale per famiglie e bambini perché veramente confortevole e attrezzatissima. In coppia cercherei un posto più riservato.
