Orlando 85 Complex - Costa Adeje

The team who manage these apartments are brilliant. They set up a whatsapp group after the booking had been made and used this to share lots of information about the complex and trips etc. They also used this to quickly respond to any queries before we travelled. We were met with the keys by Mirea who gave us a lovely, warm welcome. The team have an office on the complex which is manned everyday so they are there if you need them for anything at all. They arranged the airport transfer for us and this all worked well. The apartment was fully clean on arrival with nice touches like water in the fridge and beach towels for you to use on your stay. You pay a deposit of 200 euros when you arrive (this seemed fairly standard for the apartments that I looked at) but this was refunded without any issue very soon after we had checked out. The largest of the three swimming pools is a really good size and never got that busy when we were there. It is a big complex but never seemed that busy or noisy, which was great. It is also in a very good location. In about a 5 minute walk you can be down to the nearest beach. There are restaurants and bars closed by (but not so close that it is noisy). There are two minimarts very close by and a Hiper Dino Supermarket just a minute or two further, plus Mercadona is only 800m away, so it is easy to buy whatever food you need. The Laguna Park bus stop is also just a minute or two away if you want to use public transport.

We found the apartment smaller than expected. The team manage over 60 apartments so the photos online show a range of these apartments. From these photos, we had expected to have more space than we did but I guess that is just down to which apartment you are allocated for your stay. We found the beds uncomfortable but that is about personal preference. The sofa was also very hard and uncomfortable. All that said, I would definitely stay again at this complex in a different apartment because the location was so good and the service from the management team was excellent.

The location of this apartment complex is excellent in the Costa Adeje area. It is close to all the bars and restaurants and only a short walk to most. Downhill to get to them so a slight uphill walk to get back. It's also walkable (although a bit further) to Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos if you wanted to head that way. Public transport seemed to be readily available around the complex. We we had a rental car this time as we knew the weather was going to be a bit rainy some days during our stay. Parking around the property was free and the car park at the back of the property near the motorway always had spaces. Our apartment was in building 2 so it was handy for us to be able to park in that car park. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities we need for our stay. The mattress on the bed was a little hard for our liking but everything else was absolutely fine. Mirea from the guest service team, who met us when we checked in, was very friendly and polite and explained everything about the complex to us and sent us recommendations for locate restaurants. She also arranged a courtesy room for us at the complex on the day we left as we had a late flight back to the UK.

A second pool in front of the apartment we were staying in was closed for refurbishment, which we were advised of when we checked in. The pool was filled with water a few days before we left and sunbeds were put around the pool but sadly the pool didn't open before we left.

Doordat het complex groot is en 8 ingangen heeft die elektronisch beveiligd zijn, duurde het even voordat ik de ingang en receptie had gevonden.

Apartment was modern with all appliances needed. A nice touch was dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets, body wash, shampoo were left to use. Tennis and football area free of charge. Located close to shops, bars and restaurants.

Pools are freezing cold. Apartment was up a very steep hill so if you have a child in a buggy or shopping/luggage it's a struggle.

Excellent location. So clean & everything we needed in apartment. Very helpful staff with information. Highly recommend & hopefully be back again !!!

Only pool not heated 😬

Staff at this complex are very friendly and helpful. The complex is walking distance from everything. Very clean in the apartment and beds i found comfy.

Not as many sun loungers around pool as id liked. Quite often I couldn't get one, when the sun come out. We had a big group and 2 bed apartment. There is only one mirror in the bathroom. Could do with mirror in the bedrooms for getting ready.
