Beautiful building and good location but no parking. Construction work is being done on the road and builders vehicles blocked the whole road. We had to park over 1/2 a mile away and not easy to wheel luggage over cobbled roads and builders debris.

Asked for earlier check in as we were travelling. Our room was ready 2 hours before as we could see from cleaners they’d finished - but even after messaging a number of times - we were not able to get into room before 3pm. Really unnecessary. But we were messaged at 9am the day of check out to ask what time we would be leaving. If you’re asking guests to help you out; ie ask if they are leaving early - then maybe return the favour when someone wants to check in and the room is clearly ready.

Our stay at Amalia Studio truly exceeded all our expectations. The apartment, as well as the entire property, is maintained to an exceptionally high standard, with outstanding cleanliness and attention to detail. Everything is of excellent quality, and you can really feel the care that has gone into creating such a beautiful place. Even before entering, you are welcomed by a lovely fragrance on the street, which sets the tone for the whole experience. The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped — it genuinely feels like being at home, with everything you could possibly need at your fingertips. The amenities, including the jacuzzi and the pool, made our stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. On top of that, the staff were extremely kind, friendly, and always ready to help. We highly recommend this place — it’s truly fantastic. We sincerely hope to return one day, either with our family of four or with friends.

A small downside might be that when staying in Apartment No. 1, which is located right by the main entrance, you can occasionally hear guests coming in at night or talking in the stairwell. However, this is only a minor inconvenience and something we were aware of and could easily expect given the location.

The location of the room is very good. You can reach the center of Faro on foot in about five minutes.

Although the rooms are nicely decorated, the bed in our room was of poor quality — whenever one person turned over, the whole bed shook like a waterbed.
