We were taking the grandchildren to Gulliver’s Kingdom so it was very convenient to stay there. The owner was super helpful with a couple of requests we had. Beds were very comfy and it was nice and quiet. Pool was nice to have a swim in and we liked the timed slots so it wasn’t jam packed. Site staff helpful. Convenient for sightseeing.

If I had one suggestion it would be to provide tea towels and an oven glove. Was tricky to make a meal without them. Had to buy some after first evening.

We loved the decking and the fact it was gated for the kids, so we could have doors open, lovely park on sight, great facilities, about an hour walk into ashbourne via the Tissington trail, comfortable accommodation, plenty of space.

No dislikes

The first that we went into a caravan where we didn’t need to run the hoover upon arrival. In our previous experience with known holiday caravans, they weren’t clean to our standards. we have kids who have sensitive skin, so we have to make sure the place is clean. But this caravan is SPOTLESS!! It’s well cleaned and well maintained. There were a lot of thoughtful touches. Everything we needed to cook meals, we found in the kitchen. We didn’t need to eat out. The bedroom and living room were cozy. There were board games and books for kids. The smart tv has netflix and youtube. There were blankets in the living room that we used to watch late night movies when the kids were asleep. Wifi was also good. There is also an Aldi and Sainsbury on a short drive. It’s also less than 30 minutes to Alton Towers - which was our purpose of going. The owner was so helpful. Gave us clear instructions, and made himself available to answer all my queries at any time. Overall, we had a fun, memorable stay. Highly recommended!
