Exceptional location! Everything is about 15min walk from the property, the room was spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hostal, the neighbourhood around was safe and had some of the best - local feel - tapas bars! If I am back in town I would definitely book with Atocha 28. Thank you :)

The location was great.

We got locked out two nights because the outside door code was changed without our knowledge. We had to sneak in both times and the last evening my husband and I couldn't leave together because we were afraid we wouldn't be able to get back in. We had to stay in instead of spending our last night out in Madrid.

Prima locatie, perfect om te voet Madrid te ontdekken. Goed gelegen op wandel afstand van P del Sol, Gran Via etc. In de onmiddellijke omgeving zijn meerder horeca zaken aanwezig. Weliswaar kleine kamer maar perfect om enkele dagen te overnachten.

Geen opmerkingen, verblijf prima geregeld.

La ubicación.

El agua caliente no funcionaba. No pudimos ducharnos. Intentamos hablar con recepción y no había nadie. Ni nos avisaron ni nos dieron ninguna solución ni alternativa. Además de no dar solución, se niegan a compensar a posteriori de algún modo. 0 planificación y atención al cliente pésima. Estamos hablando de un servicio básico como lo es el agua caliente y 200 euros la noche por una habitación bien ubicada pero muy básica. No todo vale. Como último detalle, pretenden cobrarnos 5 euros por guardarnos las maletas. Cosa a la que nos negamos. Estamos en madrid, en pleno centro, entiendo que hay que ganar dinero, pero no todo vale. Los errores ocurren, pero que no se rian de la gente.

The location is fantastic. Spacious room with lots of natural light and windows in the middle of Madrid!

The lack of reception/ personnel at the property made it difficult to ask for help when needed. Also left luggage was not possible at the property and this was not clearly mentioned when booking.
