The Cow Hide @ Mill Burn Hollow.

The Cow hide is a great accommodation. Clean, very tastefully decorated and well equipped. We were greeted by a nice warmth thanks to the heating on, which we really appreciated as the weather was not very good. The apartment is a good base for exploring the Strangford lough area and also for visiting Belfast. The hosts Lisa and her husband are very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wow … The Cow Hide was a super find! Peace, tranquility, and every convenience you could wish for in a super location. I feel you often take a chance when booking based solely on photos and reviews but I defy anyone not to be bowled over by this place. Lisa has superb taste and the Cow Hide is decorated beautifully. The lounge / kitchen / diner is lovely, the bedroom is huge and the bathroom would grace any hotel … particularly with the jacuzzi bath. Waking up to the views of the cows outside of the bedroom windows topped it off. All in all a fabulous couple of days and we WILL be back! Thanks Lisa.

It got a bit hot at night but Lisa provided a fan straight away which did the job perfectly.

The hosts were so friendly, the location was perfect. All the facilities were amazing, we had a lovely night's sleep in a cosy bed. We will definitely be back.

Loved how well put together the apartment was. Lisa is a super sweet person and a wonderful host! We were there for 4 nights, and we really enjoyed our stay. The big jacuzzi tub was amazing after lots of walking!! We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable for me and my husband, and we have different ideas of what makes it great.

The property is very well equipped and tastefully decorated, situated in a lovely rural setting, yet close to amenities and supermarkets. There are several beaches a short distance away on the Ards Peninsula. Bangor is quite close by, where there is a car park just opposite the train station and there are regular trains to the Titanic Quarter or to Central Belfast. It is a very scenic journey of 35 - 40 minutes. Mount Stewart House and Gardens are well worth a visit.

I couldn't find fault with anything.

Spotlessly clean accommodation with every comfort imaginable including a huge spa bath, well fitted kitchen with full oven, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher, and an incredibly comfortable king-sized bed. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. This is great little find and one we'll definitely be returning to.

Loved all the facilities and their close locations to lovely see side villages and Bangor itself. It has everything you need and the host was also very lovely.

Almost everything. Bathroom has both shower and baths with soap and bath salts cooking was on a ceramic plate with dish washer as a bonus. Washing machine not available but owner gave us a free wash and dry after asking. Very pleased.
