Domay's Homestay ( Main)

I booked 3 nights in this accommodation, but when my friend and I arrived at the accommodation at 8 am, the owner rented our room (which we had already paid for!!) to some other guests who had arrived the night before. The owner of Domays homestay knew that we would arrive at 8 am (our bus was late) because we had been in contact the whole time the previous evening. As we had already paid for the accommodation, she was not allowed to rent our room to someone else, even though we had not arrived the night before. When we arrived at the accommodation, she told us to wait another 2-3 hours until the guests left the room. I told her it was out of the question because we paid for the room and wanted to go to sleep because we traveled by bus for over 15 hours. After I told her several times that we wanted to go to the room right away because we were tired, she offered us to transfer to her friend's accommodation in ySagada homestay. Her friend was kind and I recommend you to book her accommodation. Although the owner of Domays homestay offered us to transfer to her friend's homestay, we asked her to return the money for the previous night because she received double the money for that night, from us and from the new guests. She sent the money to us through her friend on the last morning, but she returned $7 less and I sent her a message to ask her why we didn't get the full amount we paid. She said that she deducted the amount for the tax, which definitely wasn't fair because we didn't even sleep in her accommodation that night, and she also got the money for the tax from the new guests.I told her to return the $7 before we got on the bus, but she didn't want to. After I told her I'd give her a 0 rating here on Booking she said that I should come to her homestay to take the money. We were already at the bus station waiting for the bus but I still tried to find a taxi to go there.

at the place we had been informed that there is overbooking but we will stay at the neighbures' hostel (no problem!); there we had found that olu double rooms available and ther is no wi-fi (we had to walk 500m to catch GSM range). The guide arranged by Homestey had never shown up.

Disappointing!We were transferred to another homestay without our knowdlege.I have chosen this homestay because it's just along the road,but we were transferred to an area where we have to walk downhill and uphill carrying our luggages with 3 senior citizens!Whats worst,we were transferred to a much lesser accommodation more than what we have paid for!What they did was outright disrespect.I'm worried that they might do this again to other clients!

The place was clean and nice, Zid, our host was very accommodating and smiles a lot. It was a wonderful experience for me and my family

Domay was so friendly and try to Help for everything which is possible. I Had a very nice stay in Sagada!
