House was spacious and close to train and local shops. Nice quiet neighbourhood with limited train noise. Check in was easy.

The house smelled of cigarettes when we arrived and the yard was littered with butts (which we had to dispose of so children could go outside). The sink was broken, leaking into the cupboard) and when asked the property manager ignored the question so we fixed it ourselves. The washing machine was filled with dirty towels. The downstairs toilet was broken.

Clean, modern, spacious house with great parking in a quiet road with a good location well-served by local facilities.

The photos show a house lacking home decor such as soft furnishings, which is a perfectly reasonable choice for the hosts. However, it lacked some basics. There were no mirrors in the bathrooms making it difficult to shave, apply makeup etc. None of the rooms had any lampshades meaning that apart from the two double bedrooms which each had a bedside lamp, the only lighting was from overhead bare light bulbs. The bedding had also not been ironed so looked very crumpled. With a few improvements in these areas, this could be fantastic accommodation.

Overnight stay only but lovely, tidy, well equipped property. Internet provisions were an unexpected bonus. Very quiet location. Prompt, efficient communication with the polite and helpful owner. Worked out cheaper than two rooms at the premier inn! Would recommend.
