Location and free parking

The location of this house in Reykjavik is absolutely excellent! It is situated right in the prime area of the city center, yet nestled in a peaceful corner that remains quiet and free from street noise. The house itself is beautiful and very well-equipped with everything we needed. A huge thank you to the host for warmly providing us with so much helpful information!

Another issue is that the indoor lighting is very dim because there isn't enough light, and a few light bulbs were already broken and dead. Even in late May, when Iceland has almost endless daylight, the house still felt very dark inside. Additionally, the overall environment and the tableware need a more thorough cleaning. This is something we really care about. We found that many of the cups and dishes still had a lot of grease and dirt inside them. It would be much more ideal if these could be properly and thoroughly washed before guests arrive.

Excellent location as it was so convenient and close to everything! Having 2 rooms with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen made for a great stay! Also having free parking in the garage was definitely a plus!!

Wish we could have checked in sooner since we were so jet lag from our trip but it was a minor detail and would not prevent me from booking this apartment in the future.

-Dryer wouldn’t dry -Couldn’t get lights or heated floors to work in master bath but that could be user error. It was working the first day, though. Host was very communicative and helpful.

It’s big, close to a lot of things.

Too many light switches and some switches do not turn on the light. No instructions on how to use the washer and dryer, especially the dryer, our clothes wasn’t drying because we didn’t know we had to empty the water. The key is hard to turn.

The location was great for restaurants and seeing the sights of Reykjavík. The apartment was nicely furnished and comfortable. It was great that parking was included.
