La Vie Funchal - City Center & Free Park

Very comfortable and spacious. All I needed was there. Location is very convenient. Parking space is priceless.

Location was great, convenient free parking. The apartment itself is spacious and well stocked.

Unfortunately the service got off to a bad start and never recovered. The cleaners didn’t come until 6pm, due to overbooking. We were promised 2:15pm but when the cleaners hadn’t shown up by 4:30pm, well after the check-in time, we had to chase our host for an update, and never got a new ETA. Similarly, when we asked for a towel refresh, laundry detergent, and new batteries for the remote for the a/c that was no longer functional, our request sat unanswered for most of a day, before we were promised it’d be taken care of on day 2. The items never appeared and the host didn’t say anything until I asked, at which point they simply said the cleaning people “forgot”. They gave us a new time on day 3, which AGAIN came and went with no update. It ended up taking 3 days to get new towels and a functional a/c.

Przed wyjazdem skontaktowała się z nami Mariana i przekazała dokładne instrukcje dotyczące odbioru kluczy oraz parkowania. Otrzymaliśmy też rekomendacje miejsc wartych odwiedzenia na Maderze. W mieszkaniu było wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy: naczynia, lodówka, zmywarka, pralka oraz dobrze działający internet. Lokalizacja jest idealna — wszędzie bardzo blisko. Centrum handlowe, w którym znajduje się apartament, to jednocześnie plus (łatwy dostęp do sklepów) i potencjalny minus (światło i hałas do późna). Nam to nie przeszkadzało — przy zamkniętych oknach i sprawnej klimatyzacji było komfortowo.

Great location, really convenient parking in the underground garage. The apartment is very spacious, bright and stylish. It has washing machine and dishwasher, including detergents. The space was clean and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped. Convenient store, bakery and shopping centre is in the same building. Our host was Mariana, who was really nice and accessible, she gave us many useful information about Funchal and Madeira.

Very nice, modern apartment above a shopping center in the city center of Funchal. Most Funchal sights are in walking distance, many restaurants and bars are nearby and parking is easy. The host is very nice and helpful, in the apartment is everything you need.

If you like to sleep with open window you might hear the air handling unit on the roof top of the shopping center.

Sehr moderne, gut ausgestattete unterkunft. Zentral gelegen. Vermieterin hat sich sehr bemüht, hat alles etklärt und war super hilfsbereit. Wir konnten sogar spät auschecken. Ausstattung ist komplett. Klare Empfehlung.

Ein mini-pünktchen abzug, weil in den modernen, großen innenhof des Einkaufszentrums. Es gibt vorhänge, aber ansonsten sieht man sich gegenseitig etwas rein. Uns hat das nicht gestört.

La ubicación es excelente. Situado justo encima de un centro comercial y a 2 pasos del centro de Funchal. Apartamento luminoso y espacioso. Mariana nos recibió super bien y fue muy atenta!
