Woodland House B & B

Excellent standard and excellent hosting

We found this an excellent base for forays into the Dorset countryside and coast. The room was very well appointed and comfortable. Sean and Nikky were so welcoming and friendly. There was a good choice for breakfast which was delicious. We do not hesitate to recommend Woodland House B&B.

The Location was great. Within easy reach of the coast and also Salisbury, Stonehenge etc. Everything about the stay was fabulous. A really great breakfast with plenty of choice, and the lovely Hosts, Sean and Nikki made us very welcome and were attentive at all times over our two night stay. The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom with a lovely large shower. Even fresh milk in the room which was a lovely touch. The decor in the house is 5* and spotlessly clean and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to family and friends and will certainly stay there again should we be in the area.

Niki and Sean were excellent hosts , lovey place to stay clean and modern ,beautiful surroundings, very peaceful area, good location for coast and countryside we had a great stay.Nice meeting friendly doggies .would recommend.

The property is exceptionally well-presented and a credit to its owners and stands in a lovely garden plot. We loved the location as it is out in the countryside, but there are lots of eateries within a 10-15 minute drive. Extensive breakfast choice which should suit almost any diet. The owners are very friendly without being intrusive and a great source of tourist information and advice. If we visit the area again, this will definitely be our first port of call.

Nikki and Sean were very welcoming from the moment we arrived at Woodland House. They greeted us and chatted to us and then showed us to our room with a lovely bottle of fresh ice cold water (which was replaced fresh daily) and explained everything we needed to know about our stay. The breakfast selection was excellent we couldn't fault the quality, service and presentation of the breakfast. Woodland House has been refurbished to a very high standard and our room was really lovely. All in all we could not fault anything and Nikki and Sean ensured we had an amazing stay at their lovely B&B. They are also very knowledgeable of Dorset and were both so helpful regarding places to visit. Woodland House is also perfectly located to to explore Dorset easily. To sum it up we would definitely stay again and everything was perfect. They also have two adorable dogs which were very friendly too. Thank you Nikki and Sean.

There wasn't anything to dislike at Woodland House B&B.

The facilities and the breakfast were fabulous. Nikki and Sean were the perfect hosts - attentive and welcoming.

Nothing I didn't like however there is some feedback I could give. I woke early due to the lightness in the room. Maybe blackout blinds or curtain lining would make the stay even better.

Beautiful immaculate room with a comfy bed, a delight to come back to; countryside views from the windows and it was lovely to hear the owls at night. Nikki and Sean are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Plenty of variety for breakfast - the food is plentiful and well cooked. We had a most enjoyable stay and I don't think it'll be our last. We would have no hesitation in recommending Woodland House.

Such friendly hosts. Beautifully decorated room very comfy big bed. Delicious breakfast. Parking on site. Cold milk provided in a flask and fresh cold drinking water.
