The house was clean and had everything you need for a self catering stay. The bedrooms had a double bed in each room, some reviews have said they were uncomfortable however my husband, our children and I found then comfy and loved the bedding and pillows. There was plenty of wardrobe space with hangers. Bathroom had a large walk in rainfall shower which had some body wash, shampoo and conditioner for guests (we didnt use these but nice if you forgot something) 2 x toilet rolls were supplied for our 7 night stay plus a bath towel and hand towel each. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, pans etc cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle. Washing up liquid and scourer were supplied. The rear 'yard' that I've seen others mention in their reviews is a tiny bin storage area and we didn't find it smelly as some others have said it serves its purpose for bin storage. The sofas were comfy too and there is a small tv with free view channels. The street was quiet and in a great location, only a few minutes walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants. Also only a few minutes to a lovely grassed area ideal for us as we took our dog so found this great as there's no garden. We managed to park not too far from the house (a few houses up) parking permits were provided, however we were one short for our stay and so had to leave really early on our final day as the parking wardens were checking permits every morning around 8am and we didn't want to risk getting a ticket. We did request another and was told we would get one but I'm guessing they forgot. So we just left early. Permits were for one day at a time so we just filled out all of them and layer them out in order on the dash to save having to get up early to replace every day. The traffic wardens are everywhere in torquay. All in all we had a lovely stay, it was great value for money and would return.

Not anything I didn't like, but more info on permits would have been helpful as I couldn't find out what time of day your permit had to be changed by, hence the reason for early departure due to traffic wardens being present every day. Or and extra permit for peace of mind.

Good location. Decorated nicely, really nice rain shower in the bathroom. Hosts are nice enough. Parking outside was impossible but we always found a space up the road and permits are provided. Everything in the house looks modern, carpets are nice and soft, kitchen is ok although it could do with added bits as its a bit bare. This didnt bother us as we never used it other than the kettle.

The beds are horrendous. Travelled with partner and kids so we had one bedroom each. Couldn't work out why I seemed to have elevated feet until I moved the mattress and discovered a hole in the divan. If there's one thing I hate about rentals, its a bad bed. There also seems to be a damp issue in the house. The sofas were constantly damp for example. A different fridge would be ideal as the door has no holder for milk etc. This house has a lot of potential. It's clearly been renovated to a decent standard but is let down by some issues that would prevent us from returning and we stay in Devon frequently.

We had a lovely stay at this property it felt like home from home, very clean with everything you would need, the location is perfect for all of the local amenities / restaurants / harbour etc..the host was very helpful.

If we were to say any negatives the only small thing was the bed probably could do with a new mattress but apart from that everything was perfect.

Beautifully presented and finished property. Spotless. Everything was super comfortable within our stay We even met the host's as we arrived early and managed to settle in a little earlier than expected. We asked about parking as permit only. We had temporary permits explained to us which we then used to park outside property. Extremely helpful. The location of property is only a 5 minute walk from the marina and in the hub of Torquay so it couldn't be more convenient. The host's also left useful information inside the property of places to visit.

We did not ' not' like. Just some suggestions. One of my friends was a little warm with the duvet in bedroom, so maybe either a spare blanket/sheet in both bedrooms would be helpful.
