No 15 Modern Comfort in a Prime Southampton Location - Free Parking

The layout of the flat. Had all facilities

Wasn’t clean as could be, dirty floor in lounge room door to outside. Missed flyscreens in bedrooms and broken floppy thing in main lounge. Bare bulbs in bedrooms x2. Ensuite shower was seriously slippery we used only once. Needs shower mats. Not suitable for older guests.

Lovely comfortable apartment. Great location, very clean with excellent facilities. Will definitely book again.

Everything was great but we struggled to find the car park and parking space. Would benefit from additional information, such as a photo of the car park and that it’s under the apartment block. A number for the allocated parking space would also help.

The flat is very nice great to have coffee at the flat, it was very clean nice beds.

The property was spacious, clean and bright

There was constant dispute over parking. We were told we would be able to park in the corresponding space for the property, however, on arrival our space was already taken. Later in the day the space became free so we were able to park in our designated space. Then the following day we came down to a rude note on our car telling us to park somewhere else and a note taped to the wall stating it was reserved parking for their car. We did not move our car from our space again for the weekend. The property was clean and comfortable and a convenient location for our stay. But there were not dishwasher tablets and no tea towel so we had to buy our own. The markings on the oven dials were also gone so was rather difficult to work out how to use it and put it at the correct temperature. The toilet seat in the onsuite bathroom was also not attached properly (only on one side as its too small for the unit) so moved every time you sat down. It was very noisy, even at night, with the traffic, train line, constant church bells ringing at weird times and general noise from local revellers. It was also very hot a night, the duvet is very heavy. The building in which the property is located wasn't great, the lift was really smelly of rubbish and there was a lot of water/damp damage going down to the car park.

De wijk waar het appartement gelegen is, is op 15 minuten lopen van het centrum. Wijk is niet bruisend. Badkamer verouderd, simpele meubels, wel in elke ruimte een grote tv voor wie daar eventueel behoefte aan zou hebben.

Location was okay and was close to pier for cruise ship

Issues include: the main bathroom shower glass was not secured and would move when touched. The glass needs to be reattached to the tub. The boiler room has numerous linen and blanket on a hanger inside boiler room closet, a real fire hazard. The curtains in the bedrooms are long and hang over the heaters, another fire hazard. There was no place for us to put our trash and no instructions for us to dispose trash. I emailed and response was they changed keys and owner did not receive it yet. The trash bin in kitchen was smugly in its place but made it hard to put trash in. When I made reservations I was not told it was an Airbnb rental as compared to a hotel. More clarification could have helped. The beds are all super soft making for a rough time for us all. The best bed was the couch.

Fantastic location for St Marys Stadium. And quite quiet at night. Free parking in the underground carpark was great

Only small thing was the shower in the ensuite. The slightest nudge on the dial sent it from scalding to freezing cold.

Extremely clean Has everything a home could need Warm cosy , the list goes on. It’s a top tier property and I’m glad I stumbled across it 🙂
