No lamps in living room, just the overhead light. Difficult to figure how to turn off/on the baseboard heating without getting down onto the floor for eye level. No grab bars or bathmat in tub for safety.
USUSUSIssue with lack of hot water pressure in shower for over half of our 2 week stay. Impossible to actually shower. Plumbers fixed after visits. We did get good contact from property manager . We loved the cottage though and will stay there again!!

The house is on a fairly busy street, and when we arrived at 5 p.m., traffic was heavy. Parking was nothing like we expected and didn’t work for our two full-size vehicles (a Ram van and a Ram 3500). When I told them the property wouldn’t work, they suggested backing in from a busy road, which felt unsafe and was nearly impossible that day. We managed to squeeze one truck awkwardly into the driveway so we could at least go inside and see if there were better parking suggestions listed. The neighborhood also had quite a few questionable characters wandering around, and it didn’t seem like the kind of place you’d want to leave anything valuable in your vehicle. With both trucks full of construction equipment, I was worried right from the start. As soon as we entered the home, a strong, unpleasant odor hit us—like animal urine or possibly mold. Whatever it was, it immediately triggered an asthma flare-up for one of our employees, and none of us wanted to sleep there. We ended up locking the place back up without even bringing in our bags. I messaged the owner to say we decided not to stay because we couldn’t fit in the driveway and the smell was overwhelming. I requested a refund through booking.com, but they asked for photo evidence—which left me unsure how to prove a smell through pictures.
USUSCute little house felt spacious for our group of two adults and two children. Seems like a nice area close to lots of places to eat and shop. Check in directions were easy to follow. Beds were comfortable.
