The Old Bank House - Ross-on-Wye

Being in a town centre location, meant good access to shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. The downside of this is that there's limited parking. Although we had a free parking pass for a nearby carpark, there were seldom any spaces there, which resulted in us having to pay for alternative parking. (not a major issue, but a tad annoying). The apartment itself was clean and well equipped. It was spacious with good sized rooms and a comfortable bed. It could probably do with having secondary glazing fitted to the bedroom, as it was adjacent to a main shopping street (it did mention this in the reviews though. All in all, we enjoyed our 4 night stay though.

De ligging en het charmante en karaktervolle huis. Werkelijk een optimale mix van oud en historisch met een typische Engelse /Welshe stijl van artistieke en kunstzinnige details gemengd met een flair van chaotische kijk op inrichting van de b&b. Het appartement was zeer ruim met een royale zit en eetkamer. De indeling was on Nederlands maar wel geslaagd. De tuin is zeer groot en fraai waarbij het klassieke huis goed uitkomt. De entree is overweldigend.

De bank in de woonkamer was wel erg ver doorgezakt en daardoor niet comfortabel meer om in te zitten. Het regelen van de watertemperatuur tijdens het douchen was moeilijk, of te heet of te koud, en er kwam ook maar een klein beetje water uit de douchekop. Jammer.

Noisy position in town especially at weekends. There was outside space that wasn’t used as not seat pads in location described. Also scaffolding being erected added to the noise on 2 mornings.

I absolutely loved my staff at this very stylish and comfortable apartment. Such a luxury to have my own kitchen and living room, it was like a home away from home. The owners also provided a resident parking permit which was very much appreciated. Highly recommend this place.

Great location right in the town centre, surrounded by the local amenities. Very well equipped and spacious property.

Parking could be an issue, there is a permit provided for the local area, but we could never find a space. We ended up using a local car park, which wasn't unreasonable at £6 for 24hrs.

Very spacious and comfortable flat. Kitchen well stocked and milk in fridge on arrival. Lovely comfy bed. The location is superb, central to literally everything!

Finding the key to door was easy, finding the door required help. The instructions were not clear. Luckily a lovely young woman from a shop knew exactly what we were looking for! Maybe she has been asked before?

Great location,right in the centre. Comfortable bed and nice linen. Everything was there that we wanted . Would definitely recommend x
