MTCancelada is a very nice and unique town to stay in.
We left after 3 of 7 nights because the apartment was infested with cockroaches, often coming from the sofa, and other small insects (see pictures). Despite providing proof, the property manager refused a refund and eventually stopped responding. The A/C was also faulty — its front lid stayed closed, blocking airflow. I’ve spent 10 summers on Costa del Sol and never had cockroaches in any apartment before, so this was very disappointing. We had to find alternative accommodation at our own expense.
