Iris 128: il terrazzino sul giardino

La casa è molto spaziosa, ben fornita e la host molto gentile e disponibile.

Pulizia un po’ carente, da migliorare per rendere la casa e il soggiorno più confortevole.

The kitchen could use more utensils

Maybe location, but we knew what we ordered.

Big rooms, clean and comfortable. Host was nice and attentive. Ceiling fans on every room made the stay better.

A bit far from the city centre. Need to understand the public transport network to be able to move around.

The apartment is situated in a very peculiar location of Turin, a quarter named Vanchiglietta, between the rivers Po and Dora Riparia. Viewed from above, it feels like a peninsula. The house with the number 128 (hence the name Iris 128) is on the Corso Belgio street, across a big park. We were five people, two families, in two bedrooms facing the street. A small room with a kitchen was facing the backside, which has a very beautiful garden. Only birds singing, no sounds or traffic, calmness. We sat on the small terrace, and enjoyed. The weather was like spring, sun, almost no clouds, warmer. For those that want to wander, a walk by the Po river bank to the Vittorio Veneto Square takes approx. 30 minutes. Public transport is available, lines 68 and 15 pass on the Corso Belgio frequently, and take you to the center in around 10 minutes. There are several supermarkets in the vicinity of the apartment, like COOP, Carrefour and EKOM, which we found most suiting for us, with lower prices. On the street there are many restaurants, cafes, bars, bakeries, other shops. We prepared meals several times on the kitchen stove, there is a coffee maker as well. There is hot water all the time. The bathroom includes a bidet. The apartment is clean, nicely designed, every room included a wall and elements with different color. I had a previous communication with the owner, and received all the information needed. Very polite, cheerful person. Since the apartment was vacant the day we arrived, we could enter earlier. The key was on the door. Clean towels, bed sheets, everything was arranged. The rooms were warm at night, the apartment has central heating. Free WI-FI was available.

There was nothing to dislike. The apartment exceeded our expectations.
