Stylish Two Bedroom House - Parking - Garden 55H

Quiet area with parking, away from the town.

There wasn’t much to like, it wasn’t clean when I arrived at 4pm, Check in is from 3pm. Desperately needs skirting boards cleaning and painting, the walls have paint marks on which is clearly a quick job to patch up. The couch sinks in the middle, 3 fully grown adults couldn’t sit on it so we used the chairs from the table. The dining table in the kitchen is dangerously wobbly, the microwave was dirty, spiders and cobwebs all over. The boiler looks extremely old and we couldn’t get the heating on, the button just wouldn’t work, the hot water worked fine. There was 1 wine glass, 3 drinking glasses and 4 mugs. 3 forks and spoons. 1 oven tray, 1 oven dish and a cheese grater, 1 frying pan with very loose handle and a few pans, A few utensils and that was the whole stock for the kitchen, No scissors, no tin opener, no sharp knife’s, no chopping board. It lacked everything needed to cook a meal. No hand wash, a used sponge was left for us. Linen had marks on it, hand towel had brown marks on them. There was a duvet cover used as a sheet on one bed and no matress protectors, the mattresses are disgusting, 1 pillow per bed and they where extremely thin. The bedroom window (with the 3 single beds) does not have a handle so there is no night latch, I originally asked for a cot but didn’t receive one so pushed 2 beds together, I couldn’t have the window open during the night as my 3 year old could of easily climbed up to the window and it just was not safe. It definitely wasn’t what we expected, but we did manage. We had to stay another night in the area and couldn’t find anything close so did ask to extend but no one responded to my message.
