Studio 5

Location

As others have said, Studio 5 was spotlessly clean. Although the building is older the apartment will not disappoint. The apartment is 5 on the 5th floor but there is an older (small) lift which worked well. The bed was comfortable with sufficient space for tv area. There was a small kitchenette with cooktop and fridge that was well fitted out. The bathroom was well set out. The towel sizes in Europe are smaller though I had sufficient for one person. A tea towel in the kitchen would have been handy but paper towel was supplied and drying rack which also worked well. Studio apt had good access through electronic locks but I had a little trouble and on one occasion left the apt unlocked. There is a reverse cycle air conditioner and block out electronic shades for the window although these tended to rattle in strong wind. The owners are very accomodating and communication was excellent. The studio was a good 30 minute walk from the city centre but there are bus and trams very close. I purchased multiple tickets from the station and used during my stay as ticket machines were not readily available (a friend was fined for not having a ticket and my ticket was checked). Just ensure you validate when you get on.

Amazing location. As central as you can get while staying on the Buda side. Cozy, no frills apartment. Everything clean, the bed comfortable. Typical old school Buda apartment building. If you want to check out some of the less touristy spas in Buda, it's probably the best location. I can mostly say amazing things. I didn't expect to have a cozy café downstairs, but yes, they even had a really cozy neighborhood café/bar downstairs, too. Everything I need for a city trip was there. Very happy with our stay here, definitely considering staying here again. I saw older reviews complain about the towel situation, so that got me worried... But the towels were fine? Very clean, too.

Honestly the apartment was spotlessly clean otherwise... There is a small cabinet under the TV in the living room/bedroom which smelled horrible for no visible reason. As we loved the apartment otherwise and had no time to message the host, we kept the window open to deal with that smell. It was fine with the window open. But I hope they get rid of that one cabinet. It would drive up the comfort level so much.

All aspects were very satisfactory. Location of the apartment is amazing, self check-in is quick and easy. The place is super clean and cozy. And the host lovely!
