AUSmall apartment that felt like home. Kitchen properly stocked with implements and plates and some condiments. Close enough to centre of town for a medium walk. parking quiet neighbourhood easy access. Would strongly consider again

Not being able to control the heating ourselves, was a bit annoying, so I had to ask for the heating to be put on on the first day as it was controlled by the owners.

It seems to me like the hosts were trying to save on heating costs. When we arrived at the property, the house was very cold, the radiators were not on. We looked in the information pack on how to control the heating, which mentioned that the heating was controlled remotely by the owners. I don't mind that, as many places do that but they turn on the heating! So we contacted them through booking.Com who then responded a few hrs later saying that they had turned it up, but the radiators were barely warm. We contacted them again and the reply was that a window must be open. We were freezing! So why would we open a window? We contacted them again and still the heating remained the same ( radiators were barely warm). We had booked this small lovely house for 3 days but had to leave early because I had caught a chill. We had to wrap ourselves in blankets day and evening. This was my birthday present and we didn't enjoy it at all. Heating is included in the price, so why be stingy with it. I left this review, just to prepare others if they plan to go there please be aware.
