Admiral's View - Apartment 1

Lovely clean modern.property,.great location.

The view from the apartment was especially good at night when you could see the bay lit up. The apartment itself was very comfortable and well equipped. It was easy to find with free parking. We would highly recommend staying here and would return.

Having to collect and return the keys to a key box on a main street in Scarborough. A box on the property would be easier.

Everything no faults what so ever

The apartment is ideally located on the South Cliff, the walk from the apartment to the rock pools to the South beach, the walk to the harbour and the amusement s along the south beach was thirty minutes, and from the front door to the castle through the old town was about forty five minutes. The proximity to the Cleveland Way meant that we were able to walk to Filey, a good hike and our discovery, if you are looking for something slightly different, about fifteen minutes/ 2 miles south of Scarborough, Cayton Bay beach . Generally quiet, a large sweep of fine sand backed by cliffs the beach has a wild air about it. Popular with surfers and windsurfers alike the bay here is exposed to the North Sea. There is also plenty of natural interest a favourite of both bird watchers and fossil hunters, the cliffs here were formed in the Jurassic period around 150 million years ago. Our surprise discovery was a section of beach known to locals as a naturist spot. But before you do throw your clothes and caution to one side it appears this is not officially condoned. In fact Scarborough Council have erected signs stating that naturism is prohibited here and “offenders” may be prosecuted. So be warned. All in all a luxurious base to explore Scarborough, highly recommended.

The apartment could not be improved on, the quality of everything was outstanding, it offered a grown up sea side staycation, luxury and comfortable.

Beautiful, spacious apartment, loads of space for two of us. Car park at the property. Ground floor with veranda for sitting out, looks onto the car park but there is also a lovely view of the sea and the headland. Very quiet location, couldn't hear occupants of other flats at all. If you walk out of the apartment block, turn left and left again, few minutes walk to pathway with seats and fabulous view across the bay - beautiful! Lots of helpful local information in the property and 2 free parking permits for the town which we didn't use as we got the bus. Free wifi good and TV with Sky channels (not movies). Comfortable bed, not too firm, just right. We loved this apartment and would stay here again.

The key collection box was a drive away from the property and then we got caught up in the one-way system to get to the apartment, bit of a pain when you don't know the town but managed with the help of Googlemaps! Keys returned to same place on leaving. Didn't find a hairdryer, but I had my own with me. The location is a little way out, but not far in a car or the bus.

Everything that was associated with the property was of an excellent standard and a real pleasure to say we have stayed at the property.

A nice, very modern appartment in a beautiful part of Scarborough. And you can see the castle from the bedroom window. How beautiful!

It's best you have a car upon arrival, because the pick up of the keys is too far to walk from the appartment.

Lovely, new-build apartment with excellent facilities and a gorgeous sea view. Wonderfully easy parking too.

A wardrobe would be nice!!

The communication with the host was exceptional! This is an extended stay for a continuation from our first stay at this apartment. Scarborough is a beautiful place and this holiday home made it even better! We hope to return to Scarborough and stay at Admiral's View again! It is a lovely holiday home and we definitely recommend it for an enjoyable stay in Scarborough.☺️
